Abstract: A property management system includes: a management server for managing a property item by a non-contact IC medium; a gate apparatus for reading medium information from the non-contact IC medium; and a destruction apparatus for destroying the property item. Gate passage permission/non-permission information is stored on the management server or the non-contact IC medium and, when destroying the property item, the destruction apparatus transmits the medium information to the management server to perform a destruction completion registration. The gate apparatus includes: a determination device for determining whether the gate passage permission/non-permission information represents permission or non-permission based on the medium information; and a passage prohibition device for prohibiting passage when the determination result is non-permission.

Abstract: A recording medium destruction device adapted to readily destroying a recording medium that is small and irregularly mounted such as an IC mounted on a board. The recording medium destruction device consists mainly of a device mounting part, a destruction part, and an elevating unit. The destruction part includes a number of needles arranged vertically and horizontally in a planar manner and is divided into six sections. In order to destroy recording media such as ICs mounted on a circuit board using the recording medium destruction device, the circuit board incorporating ICs (recording media) to be destroyed is to be put on the device mounting part, whereupon the destruction part is moved down to perforate a number of throughholes in the circuit board.

There are provided code number assignment means for assigning a code number to the recording medium 15 to be destroyed, and recording means for recording, when the recording medium 15 has been destroyed, the code number assigned to the destroyed recording medium and the date on which the recording medium has been destroyed.

A disk press-contact projection 7 formed so that a projection height is gradually increased in a disk rotation direction Y is provided on a lower surface of each disk pressing section 3. This adapter A1 can securely install a non-circular optical disk even if the optical disk has a slightly different size, and an installation operation of the non-circular optical disk can be easily performed.

Abstract: A protective agent for protecting a print formed on a printing object comprises a high-volatile organic solvent as a dispersion medium and non-water family high polymer emulsion liquid including synthetic resin particles as a dispersoid. This protective agent is sprayed onto a print formed on a printing object by a spray method and then dried. For example, an oil-based first print layer 2 is formed on a surface of an information record member 1, an oil-based second print layer 3 is formed on at least a part of the upper surface of the first print layer 2, and the aforementioned protective agent is applied on the upper surface of the second print layer 3 and dried to form a protective layer 4. Thus, the print will not disappeared even if a hands touches or water is adhered, and no bad influence will be given to the substrate material since the protective agent is excellent in quick-drying property.
