Abstract: An illuminated protective garment has light emitting diodes (LEDs) arranged along generally parallel rows along a waist portion of the garment, and a water-resistant module for supplying electrical power to energize the LEDs to emit light. The LEDs in the rows are staggered in position. An ambient light sensor energizes the LEDs upon detection of a predetermined ambient light level. A flexible substrate having conductive strips connects the LEDs to the module. An eyelet surrounds and supports each LED and reflects the light emitted by the respective LED. The LEDs also extend through generally parallel light-reflective bands.

Abstract: A sensor-responsive lighting module is permanently attached to an article of clothing and has multiple water-resistant, lighting units connected to, and spaced from, a water-resistant, control unit by water-resistant, encapsulated wire pairs. Each lighting unit has an upright lens portion that protrudes through an aperture in a juxtaposed panel that bears a graphic design. Each unit has a strain relief portion to resist breakage of end regions of the wire pairs during article wear.

The heel post thus acts as a convenient positioning guide for the heel cover. A plurality of fluid-filled heel cushioning members at least partly surrounds the heel post between the outsole and the cover in the assembled position, for cushioning heel impacts during use of the footwear. A plurality of dividers on the outsole extend radially of the heel post, and position each cushioning member between a pair of the dividers. The dividers thus act as convenient positioning guides for the cushioning members. The cushioning members have different resistances to compression for adjustably cushioning heel impacts during use of the footwear.

Furthermore, the displayed LED lights may light in different patterns and at different times as a result of an electronic processing unit. A foam layer may cover the housing and protect the lights from accidental damage. The foam layer and lights may also be used with other entertainment devices such as stick horses.

Abstract: Equestrian pants having shaped side panels are disclosed. A leg portion of the equestrian pants has at least one side panel connected to an inner panel at multiple side seams. The side panel and the side seams are located on an outward-facing side of the pants so that the saddle-facing side is seamless. The side panel is shaped to include preformed bends at a knee region and at an upper-thigh region. For instance, in an embodiment where the pants are made of a stretchable fabric, the side panel shapes the leg portion into a riding position. Thus, the fabric of the pants may be stretched evenly across the legs and lower torso of the rider while riding. The side seams may also form contoured paths that extend around and out of direct contact with natural bone protrusions of the rider. A method of designing the equestrian pants is also disclosed.

A base member is disposed on a horizontal floor below and adjacent to the sidewalls of the spa. A vertically disposed post member operatively attached to the base member and a handrail operatively attached to a top portion of the post member, the handrail being transversely disposed with respect to the post member. A horizontally disposed tray is pivotally attached to the post and a towel bar is attached to the post. Structures are provided for securing the preferred embodiment of the invention to a spa.
