Abstract: A flat display panel comprising exhaust holes in a display region is provided. In the flat display panel, a front substrate comprising X and Y electrodes a rear substrate comprising an address electrode are sealed at a predetermined interval in parallel. Vacuum exhaust and gas discharge are performed on a space between the sealed substrates through the exhaust holes in the display area, thereby reducing a non-radiation area of the panel to less than 1 mm. As a result, the flat display panel is effective in formation of an indefinite extension multi-PDP because a seam between the panels is removed when a multi-PDP comprising a plurality of panels is formed.
Abstract: Disclosed is a multi-typed plasma display panel for preventing internal penetration of a seal line by forming a barrier rib in a vertical direction, in a horizontal direction or in both directions. In the multi-typed plasma display panel, a barrier rib is formed according to a cross-section in a vertical direction, in a horizontal direction or in both directions so that a seal line of the cross-section is prevented from being penetrated internally. In the horizontal direction, an auxiliary barrier rib may be further formed outside the barrier rib. Additionally, a dielectric of the rear panel is removed as large as an area separated from the cross-section in a predetermined distance so that the seal line may be formed in a condition where a glass is exposed.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a multi-screen plasma display panel having improved structures of a sustain electrode and a scan electrode used in configuration of a multi-screen, thereby improving an operation characteristic and a brightness. In a unit plasma display panel, a front panel whereon a sustain electrode and a scan electrode are formed are sealed with a rear panel whereon an address electrode is formed. A multi-screen is formed by combining a plurality of the unit plasma display panels. End portions of the sustain electrodes to receive scan signals form a common electrode connected to the scan electrode, and the sustain electrode is configured to receive a sustain signal from the common electrode.
