    Abstract: A thermoelectric assembly for powering one or more electromagnetic valves of a cooking appliance. According to one embodiment the assembly includes a main current circuit that includes a thermocouple, a cable configured for electrically connecting the thermocouple with an electromagnetic valve, and a transistor connected to the cable and configured for de-energizing the electromagnetic valve. The main current circuit also includes a connection module that includes a power supply connected to the transistor, the power supply having input terminals configured for being connected to an external energy source, a rectifier, and a resistive block connected between one of the input terminals and the rectifier, the resistive block being configured for minimizing the current circulating through the power supply to a value equivalent to the galvanic isolation.

The pulse generator is in electrical contact with a part of the burner and the flame detector is connected to ground. The cooking appliance further includes insulating means that insulates the burner with respect to ground, such that when the pulse generator sends at least one electric pulse, an electric spark capable of igniting the burner is generated between the burner and the flame detector.

The electromagnetic valve is arranged in the gas valve, with the manual actuator being coupled to a rotary flow regulating element, the manual actuator being configured in order to move the closure member of the electromagnetic valve, opening the gas passage, the manual gas valve including a reduced gas flow channel which puts the inlet conduit in fluid communication with the regulating element regardless of the position of the closure member.

A support of the electromagnet includes a housing in which resides a phase closure. According to one embodiment the valve includes a connector inserted in the housing of the support. The connector having inserted therein a first end portion of a phase terminal and a first end portion of a ground terminal that are respectively electrically connected with the phase closure and an inner area of the support. The fixing means includes a fixing element having a cylindrical central part the free end of which is adapted to the geometry of the body retaining the fixing element against the body, and a flange extending radially towards the inside and retaining the bushing against the support.

    Abstract: According to one implementation a gas safety valve is provided that includes a reel onto which a coil is wound, the coil including a phase wire and a grounding wire. The reel has an elongated projection having first and second electrical contact areas onto which the phase wire and grounding wire are respectively arranged. The gas safety valve further includes an electromagnet having a core that is at least partially housed in an internal cavity of the reel. The safety gas valve also includes a support and a phase connector. The first electrical contact area is arranged such that it is inserted in the phase connector and the second electrical contact area is arranged such that it is inserted in the support, both electrical contact areas exerting an elastic force against the phase connector and the support, respectively, assuring the electrical connection between the phase wire and the phase connector, and between the grounding wire and the support, respectively.

    Abstract: A gas safety valve with a casing having a gas inlet and a gas outlet. An electromagnet disposed in the casing is situated to act on an arm within the casing that pivots to permit gas flow through between the gas inlet and outlet when the electromagnet is energized. When the electromagnet is not energized the arm closes to impede gas flow through the valve. During normal operation a thermocouple provides power to the electromagnet to hold the valve in an open position. An auxiliary power source is also electrically coupled with the electromagnet to provide power to the electromagnet when the thermocouple generates insufficient power to maintain the valve in an open position.

    Abstract: A safety valve supply circuit for the ignition of a gas burner is disclosed. Said safety valve is directly supplied by a flame-detecting thermocouple, and said supply circuit comprises a supply capacitor that is charged from an alternating mains voltage, obtaining from the energy accumulated in said supply capacitor, due to said charging, an input voltage signal that is used to temporarily supply said safety valve in order to maintain it open. Said charging of the supply capacitor is carried out by momentarily activating a supply switch to temporarily connect said supply capacitor to said alternating mains voltage, said supply switch activation occurring concurrently with the activation of the gas burner. Said supply circuit also comprises conditioning means for converting said input voltage signal into an output voltage signal that is directly applied to said safety valve to supply it, and so maintain it open.
