  • Patent number: 11065172
Abstract: A cushioning body for a leg rest of a rollator walking aid is in the form of an elastic molded body and has an upper side, which, when the elastic molded body is attached to a support member of the leg rest of the walking aid and the walking aid is used by a person, faces a bent leg of the person, a lower side, and a depression disposed on the upper and/or lower side. The depression is configured as a recess or as an area in which the material of the molded body has a reduced density. In the depression, a protuberant part of the anterior surface of the knee and of the neighboring portion of the lower leg is received when a leg of a person is resting on the cushioning body, in particular when the bent leg is in contact with the upper side of the cushioning body.

  • Patent number: 10973729
Abstract: A mobile walking aid includes an undercarriage, a frame and a support for a person's leg. The undercarriage comprises a two-wheeled front axle and a rear axle. The rear axle can be converted between a single-wheeled version with a first wheel, and a two-wheeled version. In order to convert from the single-wheeled version to the two-wheeled version, a conversion kit can be provided which comprises an axle extension that can be mounted on the axle of the first wheel, and a second wheel. The axle extension can be mounted, optionally, on both sides of the axle of the first wheel which is arranged laterally and centrally between the front wheels.

  • Patent number: 9962312
Abstract: A rollator walker with a travel carriage, a frame, and a support for a person's leg, the inclination of which, with respect to a horizontal plane in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the support, can be adjusted. The support is mounted on a supporting part, which is firmly connected to the frame via a joint with a first axle which is horizontal and transverse with respect to the longitudinal axis of the support, and via a supporting element which is at a distance from the first axle in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the support. The supporting element is connected to the supporting part via a manually adjustable mechanical positioning element, by which the vertical position of the supporting element can be changed with respect to the supporting part. As a result, the inclination of the support is adjustable without loss of stability, and the support is held securely in any set inclination position.
