Patents Assigned to ORTOVOX Sportartikel GmbH
  • Patent number: 10802794
Abstract: The invention relates to an avalanche transceiver, having a transmitting unit for transmitting at least one transmit signal, a receiving unit for receiving at least one transmit signal from at least one further avalanche transceiver, and a control device for controlling at least one loudspeaker. The control device is designed to control the at least one loudspeaker to output at least one voice message on the basis of at least one event. The at least one event is associated with a search for the at least one further avalanche transceiver. The invention further relates to a method for operating such an avalanche transceiver.

  • Patent number: 9529072
Abstract: A search system for searching buried persons is provided including a radio device with a receiving device including at least one receiving antenna and adapted to receive the field of a transmitter antenna, wherein the radio device is adapted to determine the direction of the field vector of the transmitter antenna relative to the at least one receiving antenna; as well as a user interface device with at least one interface for interfacing with the radio device, as well as at least one output device for outputting search information derived from the direction of the determined field vector and perceivable by a user; wherein the radio device and the user interface device are each formed as separate units, which are each encompassed by an own housing, and wherein the search system includes determining means for determining the relative orientation of the user interface device to the radio device. Moreover, it relates to a corresponding method for search a buried person.

  • Patent number: 9310460
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for searching a transmitter. Therein, the vectorial magnetic field strengths of the field emitted by the transmitter are detected for at least a first and a second measurement point relative to a reference axis of the detector carried by a searcher. Furthermore, at least one orientation difference (?2??1) between the first and the second measurement point is detected. Based on certain assumptions, the vectorial magnetic field strengths are calculated and subsequently a function (E) of an error vector (g) representing the difference between the calculated and the measured vectorial magnetic field strengths is numerically minimized for determining an updated position vector. Moreover, the invention relates to a corresponding detector.
