Abstract: One or more embodiments of the present invention provide a data processing apparatus operative to automatically verify meta data of a natural or legal person submitted to the data processing apparatus, the data processing apparatus configured to: establish a communications session with a communications terminal through a first communications system; receive from the communications terminal first address data defining a geographic location for the communications terminal; derive a first geographic location for the communications terminal from the first address data; and compare the first geographic location with a street address supplied to the data processing apparatus for the natural or legal person to determine a first geographic correspondence between the first geographic location and the street address.
