Abstract: Cement clinker, characterized in that it comprises Al2O3 and Fe2O3 wherein the mass ratio of Al2O3/Fe2O3 is 0.05-0.62, and alkali components and C2S wherein the content Y (mass %) of alkali components and the content X (mass %) of C2S satisfy the formula: 0.0025X+0.1≦Y≦0.01X+0.8. The production of the clinker allows the incorporation of alkali components into cement with an advantageous effect of enhancement of the hydration of belite and also with suppression of the lowering of flowability, which leads to the reuse of wastes containing alkali components as a cement raw material.
Abstract: In a decarbonation process for removing carbon dioxide from a carbon dioxide-containing gas with the use of an amine compound-containing absorbing solution, an amine compound accompanying a decarbonated exhaust gas is efficiently recovered in the following manner: A water washing section is constituted in two stages, a first-stage water washing section 64 and a second-stage water washing section 65. In these water washing sections, recovery of the amine compound accompanying the decarbonated exhaust gas is performed sequentially. Regeneration tower refluxed water is supplied as washing water to the second-stage water washing section 65. Washing water is withdrawn from the second-stage water washing section 65 and supplied to the first-stage water washing section 64. Demisters 83, 84 and 85 are provided at outlets of a carbon dioxide absorption section 73, the first-stage water washing section 64 and the second-stage water washing section 65.

Abstract: A one-touch joint for a flexible tube. A tapered surface is formed on the inner circumference of a fastening ring, and a ring-shaped retainer is positioned between the tapered surface and a seal member. When the flexible tube is inserted into the retainer, projections in the retainer are pushed open elastically by peak sections of a corrugated tube, and when a peak section has passed, the projections engage with a valley section of the corrugated tube. The joint and flexible tube can be coupled in a one-touch operation, simply by inserting the flexible tube. Abstract: The disclosed method of measuring the flow of a fluid with a porous particulate ceramic tracer and an optical instrument is characterized in that spherical particles having diameters in the range of 0.5 to 150 &mgr;m are used as the tracer. Inasmuch as the tracer particles for flow measurement are spherical, the sectional area of scattered light to be detected by an optical sensor means is constant regardless of the orientation of particles. Furthermore, spherical particles have no surface irregularities that might cause concatenation so that individual particles are not agglomerated in tracking a fluid flow, thus contributing to improved measurement accuracy.
