Abstract: A method and device for cutting orthopedic cable including tensioning and crimping the cable in a desired position within a surgical cavity. A free end of the cable is inserted a device with two coaxial members having coordinating shearing faces. The shearing faces are moved along the cable to a position proximate a portion of the cable to be cut. Cutting is achieved is by rotating the coaxial members with respect to one another.
