Abstract: A comprehensive health care data management system is provided. In an embodiment, a Medical Data Governance System records, secures, and provides appropriate access to all patient data. By concentrating all available relevant medical data into a single source, and providing a subset of data to each receiving subsystem with the correct source and time reference, the Medical Data Governance System becomes the True Source of Data and guarantees the data consistency through the use of block chain signatures. In another aspect of the invention, a system of servers is provided, which communicate data in real time with white boards stationed in the operating rooms of a healthcare facility. Medical personnel and healthcare facility staff members can view the formatted data on a white board and input new or revised data directly on the white board or at an input station near the white board.

Abstract: A customized active dongle plus cable arrangement is used to show combined and time synchronized data from different medical devices in realtime or from a specified point in time on a connected medical grade standard display monitor. The active cable arrangement of the invention is capable of communicating with a plurality of legacy and third-party medical devices via their designed physical and proprietary semantic protocols. Using the active cable arrangement, the user has the sensation of “plug and play”, by simply connecting the medical device to the monitor USB port (or to the USB hub extending the monitor USB port). The active cable arrangement of the invention transforms the proprietary protocol of the medical device, providing the monitor with standardized output for data, waveforms, alarms, setting, notifications, values and other useful information.

Abstract: The implants of the invention relate to improved implants formed using additive manufacturing techniques, the implants including a hemispherical cup portion, and an ischium flange, a pubic ramus flange and an ilium flange, each flange extending outwardly from the perimeter of the hemispherical cup portion, wherein the implant surface includes an area of integrally formed three dimensional scaffold on the bone apposition surfaces of the cup portion and on a bone apposition surface of at least one of the flanges of the implant. The invention also relates to implants with different surface texture and alignment features, together with methods for the manufacture of patient-specific implants of the invention.

Abstract: A mobile screening apparatus includes a horizontal rotary drum preferably fed by underflow from a prescreening device that is reversible endless belt of screening grizzly bars. The belt reverses for expelling oversize material caught between bars. Force needed to turn the drum is monitored, as a way of controlling drum feeding by the prescreening device, for preventing protracted over-filling of the drum. The screening drum includes an outer peripheral cage of longitudinal bars, at least some of which preferably are movably mounted. A set of wires is circumferentially wrapped about the bar cage, with sufficient flexibility to permit the wires to locally elastically flex away from the bars sufficient to pass slightly oversize material and facilitate cleaning of debris lodged in spaces among the bars and wires. Brushes help dislodge lodged debris.
