Abstract: The invention relates to a method and apparatus for testing attachment quality of a dental crown attached to a tooth and/or implant. The method comprises the steps of: detecting at least one resonance frequency of a member when it is in contact with said crown or a part attached to the crown; and interpreting the detected resonance frequency in terms of the degree of attachment of the crown to a tooth.
