Patents Assigned to Ostaco AG
  • Patent number: 7036789
Abstract: A distribution valve having a flowmeter for use in a flow pipe of a hot water heating circuit. The distribution valve has a branch line and an adjusting and measuring unit for adjusting and displaying the flow rate through the branch line with the elements being screwed into opposing threaded holes of the distribution line. The valve gap determines the flow rate through the branch line formed between a closing body and a valve seat body with the valve seat body being configured from a fixed housing section of the adjusting and measuring unit. The flow is measured with an inflow member that is displaced by fluidic forces against a spring force in a flow canal.

Abstract: The invention relates to a distribution valve comprising a flowmeter for use in the flow pipe of a hot water heating circuit. Said distribution valve consists of a branch line (2) and an adjusting and measuring unit (1) for adjusting and displaying the flow rate through the branch line (2), said elements being screwed into opposing threaded holes of a flow pipe distribution line (3), which acts as a housing and supply line. The valve gap that determines the flow rate through the branch line (2) is formed between a valve closing body (5) and a valve seat body (6), the latter (6) being configured from a fixed housing section (13) of the adjusting and measuring unit (1), the front face of said section making contact in a sealing manner with a fixed component of the branch line (2).

  • Patent number: 5890515
Abstract: The height of the valve with a flow meter shall be as small as possible, enabling it to be mounted in restricted spaces. In order to achieve this, all adjusting and display movements are not executed axial but on the contrary polar. The rotating spindle of the valve is designed as rotary slide valve and the display marker or the graduation of the display unit of the flow rate meter is present on a rotating bush. The total height of the valve with a flow meter is accordingly low and unchangeable.
