    Abstract: The present invention provides a device for efficiently heating gas. Specifically, the invention provides a gas heating device for heating a gas by bringing the gas into contact with a heating element, wherein: (1) a plurality of heating elements are provided in a container having at least one gas inlet and at least one gas outlet; (2) an induction coil for electromagnetic induction heating is provided on the periphery of the container; and (3) (a) the heating elements are columnar in shape, and (b) each columnar heating element is provided such that the longitudinal direction of the columnar heating element is parallel to the longitudinal direction of the container.
