Abstract: An interactive pet toy is provide having a housing body in the form of a thread spool or plastic egg configuration having a cylindrical center forming a containment volume in which an interactive sound element may be contained. The outer surface of the cylindrical center may be covered with a tactile sleeve formed of carpet, fabric, sisal, corrugated cardboard, jute, sea grass, cork, or similar material known to function as claw scratcher elements. Catnip or similar attractant may further be incorporated into the sleeve as a composite material. A sound unit is secured to the housing. The sound unit sounds a noise when the toy is manipulated by the user. The treat is dispensed through the exit when the toy is manipulated by the user. A sound unit is secured to the housing. The sound unit sounds a noise when the toy is manipulated by the user. Abstract: A variety of pet related products are provided formed initially of plastic and finalized with a metallized surface finish. The pet product is molded using injection molding, rotational molding, vacuum forming, blow molding, compression molding, thermoforming or other plastic forming techniques that can provide a structure having a shape that cannot be readily or economically shaped by metal stamping or other conventional metalworking method. The semi finished plastic part is then subjected to a metallizing process in an individualized non-contiguous manner, where a thin metallic layer is deposited on at least one of the product surfaces. The resultant pet product item simulates the appearance metal, and may provide the durability, cleanability and the general antimicrobial nature resulting metal surfaces.

Abstract: A generally circular enclosure is provided defining a generally circular track about which a prey decoy is located and travels. Openings or apertures in its housing permitting the prey decoy to travel about the track. The prey decoy is secured to a rotating wheel that imparts a rotary motion about the circular shaped track. The prey decoy is further spring urged in a vertical direction, perpendicular to the plane of rotational motion. The track opening has at least one break, making it noncontiguous. As the decoy is deployed about the track and impinges against the housing at the break in the track, the decoy is urged downward, and subsequently is urged upward when it reaches the track opening at the opposing side of the break. This circular motion in which the prey decoy appear to be moving upward and downward as it travels about the circular path stimulates the animal to paw at and engage the prey.

Abstract: A pet toy is provided having a tubular, linearly elongated main body terminated at each end by a replaceable wing assembly. As the toy is flying through the air, the wings provides a visual ‘flapping’ like stimuli, similar to that of the wings of a bird. Abstract: A cat litter product is provided and includes manufacture primarily from a pelletized Switchgrass. The litter product is pelletized via an extrusion technology process so as to form particles the size of wheat grain. The litter product provides, collectively, a non-toxic and naturally safe, biodegradable, odor-eliminating, scented, anti-bacterial litter that clumps in a convenient size for easy disposal and which has little dust and reduces tracking by cats.

Abstract: A combination claw scratcher product for domestic pets with a scratching surface that includes a textured surface and a cork-catnip composite material surface created by being molded, compressed, extruded or similarly processed into small or large bodies or sheets and allow for the economic manufacture of said combination claw scratcher product. The cork-catnip composite material surface allows for the delivery of an aromatic attractant for encouraging pet interaction, low manufacture cost for the product and longer life of the product.

The housing material provides sufficient delivery aromatic olfactory attractant to be effective in having an interactive response with a domestic feline. A sound chip assembly can also be positioned in a retention cavity and emits a prerecorded sound as an audible attractant in response to one or both of commencement and continuation of movement the pet toy.

Abstract: A cover for a bowl, such as a pet food or water bowl, that comprises a lower cover molded on or affixed to the lower surface of a bowl, and a plastic decorative outer sleeve secured to the outer surface of the bowl and held in place by the lower cover. The outer cover provides aesthetically pleasing exterior features. The lower cover provide skid resistance properties, being fabricated from rubber or plastic secured to the lower outer surface of the metallic bowl.
