Abstract: Systems and methods for attaching a reconfigurable roof rack to a vehicle include a rear portion of the reconfigurable roof rack with a multifunctional front surface. The multifunctional front surface has a first function as an airflow guide (e.g., based on non-perpendicular angle the multifunctional front surface forms with the roof) when the reconfigurable roof rack is in a first configuration and a second function as a mounting surface when the reconfigurable roof rack is in a second configuration. The second configuration includes a front portion of the reconfigurable roof rack with a first side and a second side coupled to the multifunctional front surface. The front portion has a slanted front surface which functions as the airflow guide when the reconfigurable roof rack is in the second configuration. The roof of the vehicle can have a removable portion disposed below the front portion of the reconfigurable roof rack.

Abstract: A reconfigurable bed rack system and methods of manufacture and use that is dynamic, adaptable, lightweight, and easy to install are provided. The bed rack system may include a plurality of U-shaped modular telescoping support structures that allow for a height adjustment to the rack without uninstalling the rack from the truck bed. Through the telescoping feature of the U-shaped support structures, a height dimension of the bed rack system may be increased or decreased. One or more side and/or upper rails may extend between the plurality of U-shaped modular telescoping supports for attaching one or more mounting brackets to secure equipment, tools and/or supplies to the bed rack system. The rack system may also include a tire hoist bracket assembly including a hoisting system to store a spare tire against an upper, inner surface of the rack system.

Abstract: An adjustable, modular grille guard assembly addresses deficiencies of both single-unit grille guard assemblies and conventional modular grille guard assemblies. The adjustable, modular grille guard assembly is stronger and more durable than both conventional modular grille guard assemblies and single-unit grille guard assemblies. Additionally, the adjustable, modular design allows the assembly to fit various vehicles, is conducive to aftermarket exterior modifications, is cost efficient for manufacturers and suppliers, does not require complete removal when work is performed on the front of the vehicle, and allows quick and easy removal/replacement of specific members. Additionally, due to its modular design, the grille guard assembly is cheaper and easier to ship than single-unit assemblies since it may be broken down to fit into smaller containers.
