Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for managing variables of a kiln are provided (e.g., to determine a kiln output product state of a kiln and to manage a mode of operation of the kiln apparatus or an associated subsystem based on the determined kiln output product state). Any suitable kiln model(s) may be trained and utilized in conjunction with any suitable kiln apparatus monitoring data that may be indicative of any suitable characteristic(s) of any suitable kiln apparatus(es) and/or any suitable kiln material monitoring data that may be indicative of any suitable characteristic(s) of any suitable kiln material(s) of the kiln apparatus(es) and/or any suitable external environment monitoring data that may be indicative of any suitable characteristic(s) of any suitable environment(s) external to the kiln apparatus(es) in order to predict or otherwise determine automatically a kiln output product state of a kiln in a particular environment.

Abstract: An electronic medical record system and method that enables easy entry and use of patient and other information. The system and method provides improvements in terms of features, speed, and ease of use. It includes the following steps: inputting patient information into an EMR system utilizing customizable templates; cross-referencing the information input with information databases, e.g., publicly available demographic-based information on the standards of care; and generating information from cross-referencing to provide user with recommendations for the patient (e.g., prescribe medication, order procedures, give immunization), if such a recommendation exists in the standards of care or is added by the user. The system and method utilize a computer. The present invention can be used to help practitioners avoid mistakes (e.g., forgetting standards of care), deliver a higher quality of care, measure performance, and proactively identify and contact patients who need a particular type of care.

Abstract: A fish bait box having a chamber therein and an access opening through the top of the box has a bottom wall surface on its exterior whereby it can rest in upright position and slanted wall surfaces whereby it can selectively rest in either of two tilted positions. The chamber receives live bait and a shiftable medium for the bait and tilting of the box causes shifting of the medium from one end of the chamber to the other thereby exposing the bait for easy removal through the opening. The chamber can accommodate bait in the form of worms in a particulate bedding and tilting of the box causes roll-over of the bedding and exposure of the worms for easy removal. In another embodiment of the invention, a porous screen is provided to divide the chamber into two compartments. The chamber can then accommodate bait in the form of minnows in water, and tilting of the box causes water to drain from one compartment into the other compartment, leaving the minnows in the said one compartment exposed for easy removal.
