Abstract: The present invention refers to a synergistic composition for UVA/UVB protection comprising tannins and additives, being the condensed tannins, hydrolysable tannins or mixtures thereof, as pure or later alkoxylated. The composition can be embodied into agrochemical formulations to enhance the UVA/UVB resistance of these formulations. The UVA/UVB protection granted by the composition of the present invention to the active ingredients of agrochemical formulations improves the performance of products applied in the field, whether they are applied directly on the plant, on the soil or in seed treatment.

The surfactant composition is used to increase the agronomic efficacy of herbicide formulations containing a high concentration of glyphosate salts. Herbicide formulations including the surfactant composition and uses thereof are also provided.
Abstract: The present patent application discloses a low toxicity and high biodegradability drilling fluid composition in the form of an inverse emulsion containing an oil phase and an aqueous phase, wherein said oil phase comprises a mixture of at least two diesters obtained from the esterification of a carboxylic acid and an alcohol. The selected diesters are suitable for use in drilling of crude oil or natural gas deposits, exhibiting good stability in the formulations assessed under conditions of high pressure and high temperature and in the presence of divalent salt brines.

Abstract: Novel agrochemical oil dispersion formulations include at least one active ingredient suspended in oil phase, dispersants, a clay-based rheological additive, a cellulose derived rheological additive and emulsifying agents, wherein they can further include at least one active ingredient solubilized in the oil phase. These agrochemical oil dispersion formulations can be used in spray mixtures for controlling pests in agriculture. The novel agrochemical oil dispersion formulations are obtained by a process which includes dispersing at least one active ingredient in the oil phase with dispersants and a clay-based rheological additive, followed by milling the dispersed mixture and a final mixing step where cellulose- and clay-based rheological additives are added in addition to emulsifying agents, wherein at least one active ingredient can also be added by solubilization.

Abstract: The invention relates to a herbicide formulation comprising a water soluble salt of n-phosphomethylglycine and at least one adjuvant, the said adjuvant consisting in an alkoxylated imidazoline with the following structure I wherein R1 is a saturated or unsaturated C4 to C24 fatty acid. The use of the alkoxylated imidazoline provides as a result a herbicide formulation that is not irritant to the skin or the eyes. Furthermore, the adjustment of the degree of ethoxylation or propoxylation of the imidazoline permits the compatibility thereof with the various glyphosate salts, allowing the obtainment of concentrated solutions that maintain stability at temperatures higher than 60° C., without requiring other adjuvants.
Abstract: The present invention describes a new moisturizing composition comprising a mixture of esters of one or more alkoxylated polyols and finds use in the formulation of cosmetics for the skin. The composition of the present invention can be in the solid form or in the liquid form, in which case is also comprises one or more surfactants, emollients and, optionally, water. The moisturizing composition described herein is compatible with a large variety of emollients and additional ingredients used in cosmetic formulations, and has shown to be able to maintain the skin hydrated for 24 hours.
