Abstract: An axle construction for a vehicle has a rigid axle and wheels mounted at opposite ends of the rigid axle. Supports respectively at the opposite ends of the rigid axle respectively support opposite sides of a chassis frame of the vehicle from the rigid axle. A triangular support is journalled at one point centrally to the rigid axle and at two points to the opposite sides of the chassis frame and other, longitudinal supports are journalled to the rigid axle on opposite sides of the middle of the rigid axle for turning the rigid axle. The supports are attached to the rigid axle by joints which allow the rigid axle to turn in the horizontal plane relative to the supports and the supports to rock relative to the rigid axle.
Abstract: An axle or boggie construction for a commercial vehicle has a triangular support (4) and an axle (1) made turnable by means of positionally adjustable longitudinal supports (16, 17). To stabilize the operation of the turninq axle (1), the springs (5, 6) of the axle are secured to a chassis frame (22) of the vehicle each with two substantially downwardly directed suspension rods (7, 10) positioned on the front and rear side of the axle (1), respectively, the suspension rods (7, 10) being at one end attached by a joint to the springs and at the other end to the vehicle frame.
Abstract: The invention relates to a lifting bogie for a vehicle, comprising on both sides of the vehicle a rocker arm (4) which is journalled on a shaft (5) and in one end of which an auxiliary shaft (6) is journalled for a bogie wheel (12). When the bogie is lifted by means of a hydraulic cylinder (8) by the action of the transmission lever (7), the rocker arm (4) is pivoted so that the bogie is caused to be lifted up. In order to make the use of the lifting bogie move versatile, the transmission lever (7) is according to the invention connected to the rocker arm (4) by means of a cotter pin (18) also at a point in which the transmission lever (7) is supported on the rocker arm (4) when the bogie is being lifted. The rocker arm (4) can thereby be pivoted by means of the double-acting hydraulic cylinder (8) so that it lifts the driving shaft off the ground by means of a pendant (3 ) and a bogie spring (2).
Abstract: A tractor vehicle provided with a fifth-wheel plate (4) supported by a beam (3) mounted on the chassis of the vehicle vertically pivotably in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle on two fulcrums (5) spaced-apart in the transverse direction of the vehicle. The fulcrums of the beam are selectively together or separately displaceable in the longitudinal direction of said vehicle. In this way the fifth-wheel plate is displaceable not only in the longitudinal direction (A) of the chassis by displacing both fulcrums simultaneously but also in the transverse direction (B) of the chassis by displacing only one fulcrum (FIG. 4).
