  • Patent number: 10457508
Abstract: A main object of the invention is to provide a sheet material separation-aiding apparatus that ensures that there can be a gap produced stably between a specific sheet material from a stack of sheet materials and a sheet material just below it, and that achieves size reductions, reduced energy consumptions and a decreased parts count. As shown in FIG. 4, the sheet material separation-aiding apparatus 1 comprises a rotating means 2 including an abutment portion 21 that is capable of coming in abutment on an end of the uppermost sheet material 101, a supporting means 3 that supports the rotating means 2 in a rotatable manner and is capable of moving in a vertical direction, a biasing means 4 that biases the supporting means 3 in a downward direction, and a lifting means 5 that lifts up an end 23 of the rotating means 2 in opposition to the abutment portion 21.

  • Patent number: 9908725
Abstract: An object of the invention is to provide a sheet materials separation-aiding apparatus capable of creating a gap between a specific sheet material and a sheet material coming into contact with the lower surface thereof even when the location precision of a stack of laminated sheet materials is low in the height direction of the stack of laminated sheet materials and in the direction orthogonal to the height direction.

  • Patent number: 9433994
Abstract: A centering device for a plate-shaped workpiece comprises: a table (21) having a conveyor mechanism (23) for conveying a plate-shaped workpiece (10) in the horizontal direction; a camera (56) for taking an image of the plate-shaped workpiece (10) placed on the table (21); a table movement mechanism (28) for moving the table (21) horizontally in the direction orthogonal to the conveyance direction; a table rotation mechanism (60) for rotating the table (21) about a vertical axis; a computation unit (58) for comparing target central position information and information acquired by the camera (56) and computing the movement amount of the conveyor mechanism (23), the movement amount of the table movement mechanism (28), and the movement amount of the table rotation mechanism (60); and a control unit (59) for controlling the conveyor mechanism (23), the table movement mechanism (28), and the table rotation mechanism (60) on the basis of the movement amounts calculated by the computation unit (58).

  • Patent number: 8118155
Abstract: In sorting workpieces by using a panel sorting device, a lateral movement amount of a cross shuttle is approximately half of a width W of the workpiece, which is remarkably smaller than that in a conventional device. Therefore, the workpieces can be efficiently transferred to the panel chute in a short cycle time, thereby improving the productivity of a press line. Further, since the workpieces are transferred to two lateral places adjacent to each other on the panel chute and the laterally adjacent workpieces are not unnecessarily separated from each other, the size of the panel chute can be reduced. This, along with the small movement amount of the cross shuttle, enables the whole panel sorting device to be reduced in size and the installation space for the panel sorting device to be also reduced.

  • Patent number: 8079800
Abstract: An articulated robot includes a first arm which is horizontally angularly movable, a sectorial support plate coaxial with a center about which the first arm is angularly movable, an auxiliary arm parallel to the first arm, and a joint member connected to respective distal ends of the first arm and the auxiliary arm. An arcuate rail is mounted on the support plate. The first arm, the auxiliary arm, and the joint member make up a parallel link mechanism. The arcuate rail engages an engaging assembly mounted on an upper surface of the first arm. A second arm is angularly movably connected to the joint member, and a third arm is angularly movably connected to the distal end of the second arm. An end effector for attracting a workpiece is connected to the distal end of the third arm.
