    Abstract: The invention relates to the of poured concrete and the need to avoid air pockets and voids within the setting slurry. At least one reinforcing rod, and preferably a grid of rods, is embedded in the poured concrete. The setting slurry is vibrated by vibrating the rod or grid. A vibrator receives the protruding end of the rod and is vibrated to vibrate the rod.
