Patents Assigned to P.A.L.M. Microlaser Technologies GmbH
  • Patent number: 8293497
Abstract: In a microdissection method and a microdissection system, first and second objects are transported from a preparation to first and second collection devices, respectively, so that a position of the second collection device relative to the first collection device substantially corresponds to a position of the second object relative to the first object in the preparation.

  • Patent number: 7848552
Abstract: The present invention relates to processing a material. The material lies on a carrier and is cut by irradiation with a laser beam, or an object of the material is catapulted from the carrier to a collection device by means of the laser beam. An image of the material on the carrier is generated. The image is evaluated automatically in order to identify structures in it. A region of the image is automatically selected on the basis of the identified structures. The selected region is then used for automatically cutting the material and/or catapulting the object, or serves as a working region in which the material is cut or from which the object is catapulted. Parallel sections through the material may in particular be employed.

  • Patent number: 7576912
Abstract: The present invention relates to a microscope table (1) having a recess (6) for receiving at least one object-holder means. Said recess (6) is dimensioned in such a way that it is suitable for receiving a standard microtiterplate. For this purpose, said recess preferably comprises a substantially rectangular region with a length of at least 86 mm and a width of at least 128.3 mm. The device also relates to an insert for holding at least one object-holder means, which insert has a substantially rectangular shape with a width and length which correspond to the width and length, respectively, of a standard microtiterplate.

  • Publication number: 20070160280
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for processing a material, as well as to a control system which is suitable for controlling a corresponding device in such a way that it carries out the method essentially automatically. The material lies on a carrier (3) and is cut by irradiation with a laser beam, or an object of the material is catapulted from the carrier (3) to a collection device (2) by means of the laser beam. In this context, an image of the material on the carrier (3) is generated by imaging means (1).
