Abstract: The container is comprised of an open-top rectangular compartment of lightweight plastic material. The side walls of the compartment parallel to the longer dimension are each provide with a plurality of equally spaced inwardly facing ribs to aid in supporting articles located in said compartments. Two such compartments may be integrally connected in side by side relation along a common longitudinal edge between the compartments.

Abstract: A process of making crust liqueurs by producing a hot aqueous filling liquid, cooling and thereby supersaturating said liquid in the presence of stirring and friction by continuous sweeping an annular flow of said liquid on a cooled smooth surface, depositing the cooled liquid into preformed chocolate shells and closing said shells. The cooling step is conveniently performed by use of a conventional swept surface heat exchanger and the temperature of cooled liquid may range preferably from +5.degree. to -10.degree.C. Subjecting the green chocolate candies to a conditioning step, preferably between 10.degree. - 20.degree.C, most preferably around 15.degree.C improves the desirable properties of the crust.

Abstract: A hollow chocolate article such as an Easter egg is formed by inverting a molded chocolate shell upon another shell in respective molds, the lower shell having been previously formed with an inner coating layer e.g., of chocolate, while the inverted upper shell is provided with an inner coating layer which is still in a fluid state when the shells are superimposed, so that some of the material of the inverted inner layer flows on to and is welded to the peripheral surface of the previously formed inner layer of the lower shell, to form an internal seam without discoloration.
