Publication number: 20140041168Abstract: A funerary urn includes a receptacle (1) that has an opening (4) that is equipped with a removable sealing partition (11) for introducing ashes. The urn is equipped with side walls (3), a lower wall (2), and an upper wall (5), with one of the walls being removable in order to open and close the urn, the urn also including first and second inside compartments (6, 7) that each has an access element that is independent of the other and separate from the opening (4) for introducing ashes. The first compartment is equipped with a window (8) toward the outside, and the second compartment is completely concealed. The urn is designed for the perpetuation of memory because it makes it possible to preserve an emotional and material trace of the deceased individual thanks to independent compartments of the receptacle receiving the ashes.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 9, 2012Publication date: February 13, 2014Applicant: M P P MInventor: Françoise GIANNETTI born ROUZAUD

Patent number: 4733885Abstract: The invention relates to a vehicle comprising a chassis to which are coupled main wheels and relief wheels mounted on retractable supports and adapted either to increase the gauge of the main wheels of the vehicle, or to be retracted inside the width gauge of the chassis resting only on its main wheels. The main wheels are connected to the chassis by way of a soft suspension, whereas the left and right relief wheels are connected to their respective support by rigid elements only.Type: GrantFiled: May 9, 1983Date of Patent: March 29, 1988Assignee: Potain Poclain Materiel (P.P.M.)Inventor: Georges M. Patent number: 4632397Abstract: A transparent container partially filled with transparent viscous liquid; contains a multifaceted multicolored indicia enhanced game piece, which is greater in specific gravity than the transparent viscous liquid and an air bubble greater in size than the maximum horizontal clearance distance between the game piece and container side wall. When the container is turned relatively end for end the bubble rises, striking the game piece, whereby it rotates as it falls slowly to the bottom of the container, where the top or scoring facet of the game piece is viewed through the transparent container and transparent liquid. The game piece falling time period, being relatively repetitive, may be used for game play timing. The colors and indicia on the game piece facets give the player game playing instructions.Type: GrantFiled: February 1, 1985Date of Patent: December 30, 1986Assignee: P.P.M.D. Inc.Inventor: Bernard W. Patent number: 4533288Abstract: A drive fastener designed to be hammered into penetrable material. One end of the drive fastener is split. The opposite end of the drive fastener contains threads. A pair of nuts are threaded together on the threaded end of the drive fastener to receive the impact of a hammering device for driving the fastener into penetrable material. When being driven, the split end spreads while penetrating to secure the fastener in place. The nuts are then removed and a single nut may be used to secure an object to the set fastener.Type: GrantFiled: July 29, 1982Date of Patent: August 6, 1985Assignee: P.P.M.D.Inventors: Bernard W. Patent number: 4434972Abstract: The present invention is a hoisting winch that uses two motors, one a low-speed, high-torque hoisting motor and the other a high-speed, low-torque compensation motor. The motor shafts are connected to a cable drum by an epicycloidal gear trains. Uni-directional free-wheel assemblies are operatively connected to the motor shafts between the motors and an associated gear train. A first free wheel assembly includes a first driving element which is connected to the hoisting motor shaft and which drives a first driven element only in the drum unwinding direction. A second free wheel assembly includes a second driving element which is connected to the compensation motor shaft and which drives a second driven element driven only in the drum winding direction. Selectively appliable and releasable brakes resist rotation of the driven elements. An electrohydraulic control system controls the motors and brakes to allow the hoisting winch to be used in loading and unloading cargo from a ship.Type: GrantFiled: October 6, 1981Date of Patent: March 6, 1984Assignee: Potain Poclain Materiel (P.P.M.)Inventor: Georges M. Patent number: 4201511Abstract: An improvement to large container handlers having a transportable platform. A powered positionable support arm is pivotally mounted on one end to the platform for vertical rotation. A L-shaped arm is pivotally mounted from the other end of the support arm to be vertically rotatable. A container gripping device is suspended from the L-shaped arm. In one embodiment, the support arm is mounted to move the L-shaped arm vertically as the support arm is rotated so as to, thereby, raise and lower a container without sidewards movement.Type: GrantFiled: May 24, 1978Date of Patent: May 6, 1980Assignee: Potain Poclain Materiel (P.P.M.)Inventor: Georges M. Patent number: 4170279Abstract: A fluid flow control device suitable for controlling the flow of fluid between two chambers of a jack comprises a valve between each of the two chambers being controlled and a common chamber. The valves are controlled by pilot operated stops which, when retracted permit the valves to close fully but which, when extended hold the valves partially open. A source of make-up fluid can be connected to the common chamber, and the feed to the pilot valves can be tapped off the common chamber by way of a restriction. Alternatively, the pilot valves can be isolated from the common chamber and a separate source of pilot fluid provided. In this case, the common chamber can be permanently connected to a source of fluid under pressure which can be a fluid pressure accumulator.Type: GrantFiled: April 13, 1977Date of Patent: October 9, 1979Assignee: Societe Anonyme Potain Pioclain Materiel (P.P.M.)Inventor: Claude Pelletier

Patent number: 4084777Abstract: Stabilization apparatus for a tower crane or other mobile equipment includes several telescopic structures. Each structure includes an inner telescopic part and an outer telescopic part and an actuator for moving the parts to a fully extended position. The inner telescopic part carries a plate which is applied in use to the ground and is controlled by a secondary telescopic structure. When the main telescopic structure is extended there is some sag so that a detector intended to indicate achievement of the extended position is not actuated. When the secondary telescopic structure is actuated and the plate is in firm contact with the ground the sag is corrected and the detector is actuated.Type: GrantFiled: January 19, 1977Date of Patent: April 18, 1978Assignee: Societe Anonyme Potain Poclain Materiel (P.P.M.)Inventor: Bernard Leon Lambert

Patent number: 4031976Abstract: This invention relates to a self-propelling construction machine comprising a frame provided with at least two groups of ground engaging members disposed and spaced longitudinally on said frame, either the front or rear end of the frame being provided with means for coupling to a tractor or articulated vehicle. The group of ground engaging members disposed near the end with the coupling means comprises a device for adjusting their height with respect to the frame, enabling them to retract away from the ground when said machine is coupled to the tractor, whereas the ground engaging members other than those disposed near the end with the coupling means are constituted by a wheel assembly which is irremovable whilst the machine is functioning. One application of the present invention is the production of a travelling crane.Type: GrantFiled: October 7, 1975Date of Patent: June 28, 1977Assignee: Potain Poclain Materiel (P.P.M.)Inventor: Bernard Lucien Lambert
