  • Patent number: 7466289
Abstract: An integrated module of antenna and connector has an insulative housing receiving a plurality of conductive terminals therein, a metal shell shielding the insulative housing, and a coupling device assembled on the metal shell. The metal shell is grounded and defines a slot with a particular shape. A feed-in terminal is provided on a side of the slot and includes a soldering portion and a contact portion. The soldering portion of the feed-in terminal connects with a circuit board. The coupling device contacts the contact portion of the feed-in terminal, feeding in high-frequency voltage which forms voltage difference relative to a plane of the slot. A resonant electromagnetic field is produced in the slot for working as an antenna for electromagnetic wave radiation. Thus, functions of an antenna and a connector are combined, reducing the occupied space and decreasing the cost.

  • Patent number: 7438572
Abstract: An electrical connector has an insulative housing, a plurality of conductive terminals received in the insulative housing, and an ejecting device. The insulative housing defines a slot for receiving an electrical card, and a groove at a side thereof. The ejecting device is assembled to and slidable along the groove. The ejecting device includes a push block, a guiding lever and a spring element. The push block forms a resilient arm which is lockable with a card hole of the electrical card. A rib is formed in the groove. When the electrical card moves along the groove of the insulative housing and is located on a final position, the resilient arm abuts against a top of the rib for preventing the resilient arm from moving downward. In such a way the electrical card is prevented from breaking off during movement and at a final position, ensuring reliable and stable data transmission.

  • Patent number: 7438590
Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulative housing receiving a plurality of terminals therein, an upper cover mounted on the insulative housing, a flexible bus, and a casing shielding the upper cover and fixed to the insulative housing. The insulative housing has a mating portion for mating with a mating connector. The flexible bus has a plurality of contacts on an end thereof. The upper cover presses against the flexible bus in assembly, forcing the contacts to contact the terminals. The casing biases against the upper cover, forcing the contacts of the flexible bus to contact the terminals reliably. The flexible bus of the electrical connector does not contact a mating connector directly, thereby lengthening the life of the flexible bus even after repeated plugging.
