Abstract: A visual field testing unit having a thin, light-weight screen adapted for mounting on an inside building wall and having a plurality of individually energizable substantially point light sources across its surface but behind a semi-transparent screen so that the lights are not visible from the outside until lit. A hand-held control unit allows a practitioner to test the visual field of a patient sitting a distance from the wall that carries the screen. The practitioner sequences various light patterns according to automatic preprogrammed patterns and duration of energization.
