Patent number: 6448184Abstract: Rough, conductive diamond film regions are formed on a substrate for establishing electrical contact with a surface mount semiconductor package, or the like. The substrate base is heated in a diamond film gas phase deposition reactor. Molecular hydrogen, a carbon-bearing gas and a dopant source are introduced into the reactor at a temperature conducive to producing a conductive polycrystalline diamond film with sharp facets extending from the film. Patent number: 4223048Abstract: Semiconductive wafers are processed, i.e., etched or layers deposited thereon, by means of a plasma enhanced chemical vapor processing system. The processing system includes an evacuable horizontal tubular envelope disposed within a surrounding heater or furnace for maintaining, the case of deposition, a region of uniform temperature within the central region of the elongated tubular envelope. Two sets of interleaved generally planar electrodes are disposed within the evacuable envelope for establishing an electrical plasma discharge in the process gaps defined between the interleaved electrodes. Wafers are loaded into the processing gaps vertically with the major face of each wafer facing into the process gap. Patent number: 4104867Abstract: The water-tight watch case is disclosed wherein the case provides a water-tight enclosure for an electronic watch module and wherein the case includes a removable cover portion for providing physical access to the interior of the case for replacement of batteries and the like. The removable cover portion includes a truncated conically tapered sealing ring surface having an angle of taper less than 8.degree. and preferably in the range of 7.degree. to 3.degree. for providing an interference-contact axial press fit with a mating truncated conically tapered surface of the case. Patent number: 4101761Abstract: A timing pulse generator for testing electronic components such as semiconductor memories, which tests require time accuracy and repeatability.A number of registers are provided for registering digital words which correspond to timing pulses to be generated. Each word includes information in a first portion as to the coarse start time of a particular pulse and information in a second portion as to the fine start time of the pulse. A counter circuit is provided with means for starting and stepping the counter in pedetermined increments through a plurality of states. A digital comparator compares the state of the counter with the coarse start time portion of the word stored in the register and generates an output pulse when the two coincide. A digitally controlled variable delay circuit is provided corresponding to each register.
