Abstract: A display tray formed from corrugated or solid fiber paper is useful for packaging, shipping, displaying and transportation of various goods. The tray includes a planar bottom which has a central and two extreme sections formed by a pair of parallel score lines. Opposing ends and sides are joined to the bottom and each side includes a pair of vertical and angular score lines which intersect proximate the bottom score lines for folding purposes. The tray can be easily changed from an open to either a partially or fully closed tray by manually bending along the sides at the described score lines to rotate the end assemblies.
Abstract: An insulated cup includes a tapered side wall that defines an array of spaced, parallel ridges separated by grooves. A label is supported by the ridges around the exterior of the cup to define an array of air gaps in the grooves between the ridges. These air gaps provide thermal insulation tending to reduce heat flow through the label into or out of the cup, and the side wall includes solid resin outer layers and a foamed resin central layer to improve thermal insulation further.
Abstract: A full panel pull-out plastic closure is provided having an outer rim attachable to the brim of a composite container, a center panel connected to the outer rim by a thin web, and a pulling device connected to the center panel including a relatively rigid pedestal projecting upwardly from the center panel adjacent its outer periphery and a flexible pull strap forming a pull ring connected to the pedestal. The pedestal has an outwardly projecting foot extending outwardly of the points of connection of the pull strap thereto. The web is connected to the outer rim intermediate the proximal and distal ends thereof.
