  • Patent number: 5291708
Abstract: A modular framing system having a plurality of framing units between which panels may be retained. Each framing unit includes a main body having a plurality of circumferentially spaced receiving chambers having semi-circular configuration. One or more panel retainers may be connected to the main body, each including a panel cup and a chamber rod. The chamber rod is a which may be lowered into one of the receiving chambers to connect the panel retainer to the main body. The chambers have an angular extent less than that of the chamber rods, such that the rods and panel cups may be rotated to the desired angular position with respect to the main body. Each of the panel cups is adapted to receive a lower corner of a panel. With this arrangement two frame units may be located at spaced positions, with the panel cups of associated panel retainers opening towards each other to support the panel. The framing units may include a stake for driving into the ground.

  • Patent number: 5275307
Abstract: A pitcher and a lid that can be locked in place on the pitcher. The upper rim of the pitcher has an outwardly extending lip provided with two diametrically opposed cutouts. The periphery of the lid has two diametrically opposed lugs each provided with a downwardly extending hook. The lid is applied by aligning the lugs with the cutouts so that the hooks can pass through the cutouts. When the lid is then turned, the hooks fit beneath and interlock with the lip to secure the lid in place. Pour openings in the skirt of the lid are offset 90.degree. from the lugs to assure that the lid is in the locked condition when the liquids in the pitcher are poured.

  • Patent number: 5219419
Abstract: A drinking mug constructed to nest when stacked with other mugs. A frusto-conical mug body is provided with a hollow handle which extends vertically and is spaced away from the mug body by an inverted channel beam having a web and two side flanges. When mugs are stacked, the mug bodies nest together and the handles nest together to minimize the height of the stack and thus provide a compact stack. Stacking lugs cooperate with lips on a handle connection beam to provide the stack with stability.
