  • Patent number: 7044206
Abstract: The heat exchanger plate presents first adjacent first corrugations generally directed along respective alignment axes in the longitudinal direction of the plate and comprising successive segments that are substantially rectilinear and oblique, being successively inclined in a first sense and in a second sense relative to the longitudinal axis. The heat exchanger plate also has at least one deformation zone constituted by at least one set of segments of second corrugations of generally transverse direction intersecting the set of longitudinal axes along which the first corrugations are disposed. The alignment axes of the segments of second corrugations make an angle lying in the range 45° to 90° with the longitudinal axes of the first corrugations.

  • Patent number: 6802365
Abstract: Plates of a heat exchanger plate pack are formed by a stack of plates defining at least two independent fluid flow circuits, each circuit comprising a central heater part and a border with a smooth surface. A cutout is produced on corners of each plate and on the border to be connected, of each plate to the adjacent plate, a fold is made in order to form a first flange. On this first flange a fold is made in order to form a second flange laying parallel to the central part of the corresponding plate and directed outward from the plate. The plates are superposed and held by applying the second flange of each plate to the second flange of the adjacent plate. A continuous sealed weld bead is made by completely melting the second superposed flanges of adjacent plates.

  • Patent number: 6196301
Abstract: A device for injecting pressurized fluids into a multiplate heat exchanger, comprising a leaktight chamber (2) provided with an arrangement for feeding and discharging a first pressurized fluid, a plate pack (1) placed in the chamber (2) and including channels for the flow of this first fluid mixed with a second pressurized fluid, and at least one nozzle (21) for injecting the second fluid. The nozzle (21) is connected to a pipe (22) for feeding the second fluid and to a pipe (24) for discharging the particles deposited on a filter unit placed inside the nozzle (21) downstream of the point where the two pipes (22, 24) join the nozzle (21) with respect to the direction of flow of the second fluid. The invention also relates to a method for cleaning such an injection device.

  • Patent number: 5755280
Abstract: The subject of the invention is a plate-type heat exchanger including a leaktight vessel (1) of elongate shape divided transversely into at least two independent segments and a plate bundle (3) arranged in the leaktight vessel (1) and formed by a stack of metal plates which are equipped with corrugations defining gaps between them. One gap in two forms a longitudinal main circuit for a first fluid A stretching along the entire length of the plate bundle (3), and the other gaps are divided transversely in order to form at least two secondary and independent circuits for the circulation of a second fluid B and at least one third fluid C and D perpendicular to the direction of circulation of the first fluid A.
