    Abstract: A system for monitoring the integrity of a plurality of ground conductors has a plurality of monitors, with a different monitor associated with each ground conductor. Each monitor includes a voltage sensor which monitors voltage on a closed circuit of the monitor. Upon the voltage sensor sensing an unexpected voltage, a transmitter of the monitor issues an “alarm” signal, which may be wireless (e.g., being sent using LoRaWAN protocol). The transmitter may issue other signals, including a periodic “heartbeat” signal to confirm continued operation of the monitor, and a “movement” signal to indicate movement of the monitor. The monitor may be GPS-enabled, in which case each signal may include the GPS coordinates of the monitor. The signals issued by the transmitter may ultimately be analyzed by an operator via a user interface platform, which may simultaneously display information regarding two or more of the plurality of monitors.

Ribs on the underside of the top wall define a channel which is aligned with the openings in the knobs. The ribs, top wall and knobs define a sleeve which is oriented such that it may receive a shaft or rod of a wire pulling rack. Alternatively, said adapter having a box structure with walls only in two perpendicular planes. At least two of said walls forming a channel extending outwardly that may receive a shaft or rod.

    Abstract: A carton has a lifting panel, at least one alternate lifting panel, side, front and rear panels that collectively define an interior space for receiving a heavy weight of non-reel coil of filamentary material or coil products such as wire. The panels may include three hand holes, two of which are reinforced by two adapters insertable into the interior space. One form of adapter is assembled from a blank of foldable material and has top, front, bottom and back walls reinforced by gusset plates which are located remotely from the side edges of the top and bottom walls. The maximum width of the adapter top and bottom walls is less than the distance between opposed side panels of the carton. First and second retention members are formed in the panels and extend into the interior space of the carton where they are engageable with the adapters to support them adjacent a hand hole.

    Abstract: A grounding assembly for electronic equipment provides a discharge path for the energy arising from lightning strikes. A conductive strap connects the ground lug of the equipment to a ground plate buried in the earth. The conductive strap has a length, width and thickness, with the width being greater than the thickness. This reduces the inductance of the conductor from the controller to the ground plate, thereby enhancing the ability of the grounding assembly to dissipate energy from lightning strikes.
