Abstract: A foldable food carton including a lid portion; a bottom portion; and a viewable tab attached to the lid portion, wherein the tab comprises one or more of alphabetic text, numeric text, QR code, bar code, graphic, design, or combination thereof printed on the tab. A method of assembling a carton with a viewable tab, including providing a carton in an unfolded configuration, and folding the carton into an assembled configuration, wherein upon folding the carton into the assembled configuration the tab moves from a first position to a second position.
Abstract: A tamper-evident bag seal including tabs for separating flaps of the seal along a perforation is provided. The tamper-evident bag seal may be a paper or paperboard panel that folds over the handles of an existing bag and is secured to the sides of the bag. The tamper-evident bag seal includes a fold having perforated sections adjacent centrally located tabs. By pulling the tabs in opposite directions, the perforated sections are compromised, permitting access to bag contents and evidencing tampering of the bag seal.

Abstract: A heat sealable bag may have overlapping layers of a multi-layer film. The inner adjacent layers of the multi-layer film may comprise a sealant layer that allows an open edge of the bag to be heat sealed by temperatures lower than 255 F for a 6-second dwell time, thereby providing safer operation and potentially allowing thinner plastics to be used, with reduced risk of burn-through. The sealant may include a polyolefin plastomer such as an ethylene alpha-olefin resin.
Abstract: Tamper-evident bag is disclosed. In one embodiment, the tamper-evident bag may include a bag body. The bag body may include a first side and a second side and a first collapsible side and a second collapsible side transverse to the first and second sides with a bag bottom and a bag opening at a top of the bag body. The tamper-evident bag may further include, a loop-style handle secured to the first side of the bag body and a loop-style handle secured to the second side of the bag body with the loop-style handles arranged with respect to the bag opening; and a sealable flap extending up from the first bag side at an edge of the bag opening of the bag body.
Abstract: A tamper-evident bag seal. The tamper-evident bag seal may include a body having a length and a width, the body may include a first panel and a second panel, the first and second panels each having a first side and second side; a fold line extending along the length of the body dividing the first panel and the second panel; a tear strip disposed along a length of at least one of the first panel and second panel; vertical separation lines disposed along opposing end portions of at least one of the first panel and second panel; and a first adhesive strip disposed on the second side of the first panel and a second adhesive strip disposed on the second side of the second panel.
