Abstract: The present invention is a container insert for volume reduction and tablet stability. It includes a flexible cup member and a rigid stem member. The flexible cup member is comprised of a plurality of correlate petal-like appendages and a hollow stem member. When the container insert is inserted into the mouth of a container, the flexible cup member appendages are flexed inwardly thereby permitting the insert to be fully inserted. When the insert is in place, it may either reside in the base of a container or, alternatively, in the neck of the same. When flexed, the petal-like appendages conform to the shape and dimension of the inside of the container. To accomplish such conformation, the appendages are capable of successive offset overlapping so as to form a bowl-like shape once inserted, much like the petals of a tulip. Preferably, the cup member includes a centrally located mound, and the stem member includes a desiccant retaining element and at least one venting cut-out.
Abstract: The metered dual dispenser cap is for dual compartmented squeeze type containers which separately contain two distinct materials. The metered dual dispenser cap has a lower portion which is reciprocally attached to an upper portion. The lower portion has two inlets, each regulated by one way valves. The two inlets lead to two chambers which in turn lead through two outlet shafts to two dispensing outlets in the upper portion. The flow from the two chambers to the two dispensing outlets is regulated by two one way valves which are controlled by a push button on top of the cap. The volume expansion of the chambers, as the upper portion is pulled away from the lower portion, may be determined from optional scale gradations on the outer male wall. The scale gradations are increasingly exposed as the upper portion is pulled away to increase the volume in the chambers.
Abstract: The present invention is a dispenser for liquids or solids. It includes a main hollow housing with sidewalls, an open base and an open top. The base is open to receive an activator component and the top is at least partially open for dispensing material therethrough. There are also at least two sets of vertically aligned, horizontal housing ratchets located on the inside of the housing sidewalls. They are tapered downwardly so as to permit upward movement and restrict downward movement of a push plate located within the housing. There is also an activator component inserted into the bottom of the housing, which is reciprocally movable. It has at least two sets of vertically aligned horizontal ratchets extending upwardly and aligned against the inside of the housing sidewalls. The activator component has a flexible spring portion biasing the activator component downwardly.
