Abstract: In order to move a stack of flat laminar products, a carrying device is used which has a support part, which is positioned above the stack, and a strap, which is secured to the support part. The strap is guided around the stack on the lower face and is secured to the support part, whereupon the support part is pressed against the stack by tensioning the strap and the stack, surrounded by the strap on the lower face, is then lifted. The stack is subsequently placed on a target storage area, and the strap is then released from the stack. The strap is gripped by a gripping device and is drawn from a strap storage spool, mounted on the support part, and the strap is placed around the stack. The strap is wound onto the strap storage spool in order to tension the strap.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device for transporting flat products having at least one feeder feeding the flat products in a first transport direction, and having at least two conveying units for forwarding the flat products in a second transport direction. The conveying units are configured symmetrically and in each case have a plurality of guiding elements which can be set against the flat sides of the products. It is possible for the flat products to be received between in each case two adjacent guiding-element pairs and to be gripped by them and, as a result, to be transported upright in the second transport direction. During the movement in the second transport direction, the guiding elements are moved gradually out of holding engagement with the flat products.

Abstract: A device for forming stacks of flat products comprises a first transportation section for transporting a stream of individual flat products of a first type, a second transportation section for forming an overlapping stream from the flat products of the first type, and a stacking unit for forming individual stacks from the overlapping stream. The device further comprises a feed unit for flat products of a second type, whereby the feed unit introduces the flat products of the second type inline into the stream of individual flat products of the first type.

Abstract: An apparatus serves for pressing sheet-like printed products, in particular for pressing folded printed products. The apparatus has a first pair of pressing rollers, with a first, lower pressing roller and a second, upper pressing roller. A further pair of pressing rollers arranged downstream has a third, lower pressing roller and a fourth, upper pressing roller. A drive for driving the pressing rollers is also provided. It is proposed that one pressing roller of each pair of pressing rollers can be moved away from, and toward, the other pressing roller via a mechanism.

Abstract: A device is provided for diverting an imbricated flow of printed products that is transported on a roller table having a plurality of rollers arranged one behind the other. The device comprises an elongated adjustment member whose position can be varied within a sliding plane extending in parallel to a transportation plane defined by the rollers. The device further comprises a plurality of guide elements for guiding the imbricated flow. The guide elements extend into clearances formed between every two rollers and are received on the adjustment member for rotation relative to the adjustment member in a direction perpendicular to the sliding plane and for sliding movement in lengthwise direction of the adjustment member.

Abstract: Copies, preferably folded or stitched copies of printed matter, are taken over from a preceding station by means of a loading device, and transferred to a stacking device. The copies are compressed over their full surface before they reach the said stacking device, scaled up by pushing them a certain way one upon the other, and accumulated in synchronism with the operation of the said stacking device. The copies are taken over from the stacking device by a transfer device in the compressed condition, in the form of a total stack. The loading device, the stacking device, the transfer device and the said packaging device are united to one structural unit.
