Abstract: Computer-implemented systems and methods are disclosed for providing a graphical user interface for tagging external content. In accordance with some embodiments, a method is provided for tagging content external to a database system. The method comprises accessing the external content of an electronic device. The method may comprise enhancing the web browser by providing a tagging interface for tagging at least a portion of the external content. The method may further comprise receiving created tag associated with a tagged portion of the external document content, and exporting the external content and the received tag to the database system. The tagging interface can also provide an option to export the created tag to an internal database system.

Abstract: Methods and computer apparatuses are disclosed for processing genomic data in at least partially automated workflows of modules. A method comprises: specifying a source from which nucleic acid sequence(s) are to be obtained; selecting module(s) for processing data, including at least one module for processing the one or more nucleic acid sequences; presenting, in a graphical user interface, graphical components representing the source and the module(s) as nodes within a workspace; receiving, via the graphical user interface, inputs arranging the source and the module(s) as a workflow comprising a series of nodes, the series indicating, for each particular module, that output from one of the source or another particular module is to be input into the particular module; generating an output for the workflow based upon the nucleic acid sequence(s) by processing each module in an order indicated by the series.

Abstract: A text-based interactive interpreter and user interface that sequentially allows a user to modify, transform, or filter data sets from a database system. Execution of user generated instructions results in output that can be rendered as a table, map, JSON, or other view. A user can easily retrieve a data set from a resource identifier for the data set. Instructions and results are presented in a sequential manner down the user interface page. Instructions can refer to variables and output data from previous blocks in the user interface page. The interpreted user-generated textual instruction areas can retrieve a data set specified in the textual blocks, parse and execute the textual instructions to transform, filter, or manipulate the data set. The resulting data set is rendered according to the data type, default settings, or preconfigured preferences into a table, map, JSON, or other view.

Abstract: A method, performed by one or more processors, is disclosed, the method comprising receiving a stream of log data from one or more applications and indexing a plurality of different portions of the received stream to respective locations of a cold storage system. The method may also comprise storing, in an index, catalog pointers to the respective locations of the indexed portions in the cold storage system. One or more requests for log data may be received, and the method may also comprise subsequently identifying from the index catalog one or more pointers to respective indexed portions appropriate to at least part of the one or more requests, and sending of the identified one or more indexed portions to one or more hot storage systems each associated with a respective search node for processing of one or more search requests.

Abstract: Techniques in this disclosure may provide a user interface that concurrently displays multiple panels which provide visualization of emergency call data of a law enforcement agency. The user interface can provide a high-level overview of emergency calls in a geographical area. Each panel in the user interface can provide visualization of the emergency calls and/or statistics relating to the calls. A user can customize which panels to include in the user interface and/or customize setting for each panel. The user may apply various types of filters to the data displayed in the user interface, and the panels can update the visualizations according to the filters. The user interface can also provide the ability to show data at various levels of detail within the same user interface or panel. The techniques in the disclosure can provide a convenient, digestible overview of tactical and/or strategic data in a single user interface.

Abstract: One or more virtual machines are launched at an application platform. At each of the one or more virtual machines, a machine learning model execution environment is instantiated for an instance of a machine learning model. A respective instance of the machine learning model is loaded to each machine learning model execution environment. Each loaded instance of the machine learning model is associated with an application programming interface (API) endpoint which can receive input data for the loaded instance of the machine learning model from a client device and return output data produced by the loaded instance of the machine learning model based on the input data.

Abstract: Software-based technologies for improving structured data collection, presentation, validation, and workflow management processes are disclosed, including the use of interpretable configuration files to define data objects, generate object-level and sub-object-level specifications for a forms-based interface, validation processes and a workflow-based interface. A back-end integration component maps the data objects, validation and workflow processes, and interface specifications to portions of a back-end database system.

Abstract: A geospatial mapping system can access a geospatial layer data set for a first geographic area defined by a first presentation level, and provide the geospatial layer data set for the first geographic area to a client device to present a visual rendering of the first geographic area. The geospatial mapping system can receive a request to utilize an advanced feature set on a subset of geospatial artifacts located within the first geographic area, and promote, to the geospatial layer data set, an additional geospatial artifact data set for the subset of geospatial artifacts, yielding an updated geospatial layer data set for the first geographic area. The geospatial mapping system can provide the updated geospatial layer data set to the client device to provide the advanced feature set for interacting with the subset of geospatial artifacts located within the first geographic area.

Various other user interfaces show query code, panel display settings, function code, dependencies, etc. Queries in a first query format access a data source. Queries in a second query format access a cache database that is synchronized with the data source.

Abstract: Systems, computer program products, and computer-implemented methods for visualizing and interacting with a plurality of models that collectively represent a real-world system depicted in a graphical user interface. The system described herein may generate an interactive graphical user interface with multiple modes and a plurality of panels associated with the plurality of models. These panels and modes lay the framework for how a user can properly visualize and analyze the models at a particular point in time or over a period of time. The systems, computer program products, and computer-implemented methods may thus, according to various embodiments, enable a plurality of models that collectively represent a real-world system be interacted with and visualized by a graphical user interface.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media are provided for displaying and annotating map-based geolocation data at an augmented reality (AR) headset. Users with access to the map-based geolocation data can create or confirm annotations for geospatial data that may be sent to the server computer and transmitted back to the headset of the user as well as different AR headsets associated with other users.

The client device receives, from the map management server, an identification of tiles for the map. The client device provides, to a first tile server, a request for the tiles for the map. In response to receiving the tiles from the first tile server: the client device displays the map of the geographic region based on the tiles.

Abstract: Data stored in large scale systems often includes significant amounts of data and metadata. The data and metadata provide valuable structures for efficient data organization and analysis. However, when the data or metadata is missing, the missing data or metadata can cause disruption in organization and analysis efforts. A system with interactive user interfaces for enrichment of missing data or metadata is described. The system provides various dynamic filters to detect and identify data items with missing data or metadata. The system also provides for intuitive and efficient navigation of data items for determination of the missing data or metadata. Via its user interfaces, the system enables users to supply, or enrich, the missing data or metadata. Additionally, the user interfaces enable users to dynamically change available data or metadata values used for enrichment. Also, the system generates enriched output data sets, which may facilitate analysis of processes and systems.

Abstract: In various example embodiments, a system and method for transforming instructions for collaborative updates are described herein. A group of instructions for an update of an element depicted in a client device version of a user interface are generated. The group of instructions is executed and the group or a subset of instructions are transmitted to a server. The server accepts or rejects the instructions. The server may execute the instructions to update a server version of the element. The server sends accepted instructions to the other or all client devices.

Abstract: A document review system is configured to quickly provide search results for large amounts of documents. Ontology templates are used to generate objects and links based on the documents. Users can view documents, and linked objects and object properties can be displayed. An index assisted search can be performed to determine the linked objects and object properties. A supplemental search can be performed on a second database that tracks modifications to the documents or objects. The modifications in the second database can be periodically written to the first database, and the index can be rebuilt. The user experience can be free of slow searches and slow index rebuilds.

Abstract: A computer system may generate alerts related to a potential cyber attack an resource of an organization. The computer system may receive activity information associated with activity on a computer network of the organization, access contextual information about the resource, determine, based on the contextual information, select, based at least in part on the contextual information, one or more indicators that are indicative of a cyber attack against the resource to form a second plurality of indicators, and generate, based at least in part on the second plurality of indicators and the contextual information, a risk score, wherein the risk score indicates a probability that the resource is at risk of a cyber attack. In response to the risk score satisfying a threshold value, the computer system may generate an alert. Alerts may be presented using a graphical user interface. Analysts' actions may be tracked for review.

Abstract: Systems and techniques for sharing security data are described herein. Security rules and/or attack data may be automatically shared, investigated, enabled, and/or used by entities. A security rule may be enabled on different entities comprising different computing systems to combat similar security threats and/or attacks. Security rules and/or attack data may be modified to redact sensitive information and/or configured through access controls for sharing.
