Abstract: The present invention is a modular solid-state bi-directional energy conversion system, which regardless of scale and directional flow, measures, adjusts, harvests, and manages the conversion of frequency, phase, and voltage between the primary and secondary sides providing for safer, efficient, lower-cost energy distribution. The system may include voltage suppression devices at either of its connection sides; network communication devices for system diagnostics, reporting, metering, and power distribution grid management; and on-board communication devices for field maintenance and other applications.
