Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are related to a coating system and a method for coating a surface of a product. The system may include a coating unit, comprising; a droplet deposition assembly configured to deposit droplets of a coating material from a plurality of nozzles according to a predetermined deposition pattern, to form a coating on the surface. The system may further include a curing unit for curing at least one polymeric component included in the coating material and a control unit configured to receive the predetermined deposition pattern and control the coating unit to deposit the predetermined deposition pattern on the surface, such that the coating has a thickness deviation of less than 1 micron per 1 meter.

Abstract: A device and a method allow for adhering sealing tape to open end of a multilayer sheet, usable at the production line and at the installation site. The device comprise means for applying pressure and heat onto the sealing tape and cutting blades for removing protruding edges of the sealing tape after it was adhered. The method comprise providing of a sealing tape, attaching and adhering the sealing tape to an open end of a multi-wall sheet by means of heat and/or pressure and adhesive and removal of protruding edges using cutting blades.

Abstract: A connecting means for connecting two corrugated sheets firmly to each other is made of a thin metal sheet folded into two portions; one portion is shorter than the other portion and is parallel to one part of the second portion, forming a gap between the folded portions that fits the thickness of the corrugated sheets. A threaded hole is made in the other part of the second portion of the connecting means adapted to accept a fastening screw. The connecting means may be placed over an edge of one corrugated sheet, another corrugated sheet is placed over the one corrugated sheet and a fastening screw is inserted through concentric holes made in the two corrugated sheets and is firmly fastened in the threaded hole.

Abstract: A supper hydrophobic surface (e.g., autoclean surface) and methods of making such a surface. The method includes forming an open porosity on a surface of a product, the open porosity including pores having undercuts and attaching functional nano-particles to the surface, such that the functional nano-particles are located inside the open porosity. The open porosity is formed by various methods such as, for example, co-extruding or applying a polymeric material with a blowing agent and/or etching the surface and/or directly printing a porous layer on the surface.
