    Abstract: This negative electrode comprises a electrode current collector, a first electrode mixture layer provided on the surface of the electrode current collector, and a second electrode mixture layer provided on the surface of the first electrode mixture layer. The first electrode mixture layer and the second electrode mixture layer have different volume change ratio upon charge and discharge. The first electrode mixture layer has an interface portion in contact with the second electrode mixture layer, and a body portion located nearer to the electrode current collector side than the interface portion.
