Abstract: A worst-case temperature calculation unit calculates, based on heat value information of each layer of a three-dimensional integrated circuit to be designed and stack structure information of the three-dimensional integrated circuit, a worst-case temperature of a layer during operation that is targeted for logic synthesis. A logic synthesis library selection unit selects a library appropriate for the calculated worst-case temperature. A logic synthesis unit performs logic synthesis on the targeted layer with use of the selected library.
Abstract: An acoustic wave element includes a piezoelectric body, first and second interdigital transducer (IDT) electrodes provided on an upper surface of the piezoelectric body, and a first dielectric layer provided on the upper surface of the piezoelectric body to cover the first and second IDT electrodes. The first dielectric layer has a first part directly above the first IDT electrode and a second part directly above the second IDT electrode. The height of an upper surface of the second part of the first dielectric layer is larger than the height of an upper surface of the first part of the first dielectric layer.
Abstract: A library for electronic circuit simulation stores information on electrical characteristics and information on the 3D shape of a flexible substrate. The electrical characteristics of the flexible substrate change in response to changes in the 3D shape. Accordingly, there is no need to execute electromagnetic simulation every time the shape of flexible substrate is changed. This improves the design efficiency.
Abstract: A plasma display device which selectively generates address discharge in each display cell in accordance with pixel data based on a video signal in an address period, applies a sustain pulse between row electrodes forming each row electrode pair in a sustain period, and applies, in the sustain period, a discharge timing control pulse to one row electrode of each row electrode pair, so that the discharge timing control pulse partly overlaps with a first sustain pulse in terms of time, which is applied to the other row electrode of each row electrode pair.
