Abstract: A vehicle detection system includes a server connected to be able to communicate with a camera installed at an intersection and a client terminal connected to be able to communicate with the server. The client terminal sends, in response to input of information including date and time and a location at which an incident occurred and a feature of a vehicle which caused the incident, an information acquisition request relating to a vehicle which passes through the intersection at the location at the date and time to the server. The server extracts vehicle information and a passing direction of the vehicle passing through the intersection at the location in association with each other based on a captured image of the camera of the camera installed at the intersection at the location at the date and time in response to a reception of the information acquisition request and sends an extraction result to the client terminal.
