Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes: a first display panel displaying a color image; and a second display panel displaying a monochrome image. Each of the first and the second display panels includes: source lines extending in a first direction; gate lines extending in a second direction; pixels; and pixel electrodes. Each of pixel electrodes among at least one of the first display panel and the second display panel, includes slits extending in the first direction. Each of pixel electrodes includes: a first edge and a second edge that are opposed to each other and extend in the first direction; a third edge connecting one ends of the first edge and the second edge; and a fourth edge connecting another ends of the first edge and the second edge. The third edge and the fourth edge are respectively inclined at predetermined angles with respect to the second direction.
