  • Patent number: 8315863
Abstract: A post filter and a decoder enabling improvement of the sound quality of a decoded signal even when the sound quality of the decoded signal is different from the bands are disclosed. A frequency converting section determines a decoded spectrum. A power spectrum computing section computes the power spectrum from the decoded spectrum. A correction band determining section determines the band in which the power spectrum is corrected according to layer information. A power spectrum correcting section corrects the power spectrum in the corrected band in such a way that the variation along the frequency axis is suppressed. An inverse converting section subjects the corrected power spectrum to inverse conversion to determine an autocorrelation function. An LPC analyzing section determines an LPC coefficient of the determined autocorrelation function.

  • Patent number: 8313632
Abstract: A semiconductor substrate is anodized to be shaped into an optical lens. Prior to being anodized, the substrate is finished with an anode pattern on its bottom surface so as to be consolidated into a unitary structure in which the anode pattern is precisely reproduced on the substrate. The anodization utilizes an electrolytic solution which etches out oxidized portion as soon as it is formed as a result of the anodization, to thereby develop a porous layer in a pattern in match with the anode pattern. The anode pattern brings about an in-plane distribution of varying electric field intensity by which the porous layer develops into a shape complementary to a desired lens profile. Upon completion of the anodization, the semiconductor substrate is shaped into the lens by etching out the porous layer and the anode pattern from the substrate.

  • Patent number: 8315584
Abstract: A semiconductor integrated circuit for broadcast receivers, which integrates an RF circuit, a mixer, an IF circuit, and an intermediate-frequency signal processing circuit onto a single chip, additionally includes a second RF circuit whose input terminal is grounded through an impedance equivalent to or almost the same as the output impedance of an antenna circuit, and a second mixer downstream of the second RF circuit. The second RF circuit and the second mixer each has an input impedance equivalent to that of the received signal subsystem; therefore, a spurious component equivalent to the spurious component contained in the output signal of the received signal subsystem is detected in the second RF circuit and in the second mixer, and cancels out the spurious component contained in the output signal of the received signal subsystem. Accordingly, the effects of noise due to spurious can be effectively reduced.
