Abstract: An apparatus and method to work relatively rigid material such as cardboard in sheets, to make boxes. The apparatus includes a loader suitable to have, according to a desired order, substantially flat reinforcement elements, and gripping means movable between a first gripping position in which they cooperate with the loader to pick up the reinforcement elements, and a second positioning condition, in which they position the reinforcement elements on the sheet according to a predetermined positioning pattern.

Abstract: A machine for cutting and/or pre-creasing a sheet of relatively rigid material which includes movement elements to move the sheet in a defined direction of feed, a cutting and/or pre-creasing unit mobile in a direction substantially transverse to the direction of feed of the sheet, to carry out on the sheet at least a cutting and/or pre-creasing operation. The cutting and/or pre-creasing unit includes a plurality of operating heads, each one mobile transversely to the direction of feed of the sheet in an independent and autonomous manner with respect to the other operating heads, and conformed to support, move and command a single relative cutting and/or pre-creasing tool.

Abstract: Automated machine to fold in a zigzag manner and stack a creased tape made of a sufficiently rigid material and provided with a plurality of transverse creasings equidistant with respect to each other, comprising feed means suitable to feed the creased tape in a determinate direction of feed toward a folding device of the rotary type suitable to fold it in a zigzag manner and to convey it toward collection means.

Abstract: An apparatus for loading a relatively rigid material in sheets into an operating station of a processing plant, comprises at least a store for storing and feeding the sheets and a loading device. The loading device is provided at least with feed means, disposed downstream of the store with respect to the direction of feed of the sheets, and able to feed the sheets into the operating station. The apparatus also comprises detection means, disposed in correspondence with the feed means, able to detect both the position of the sheets with respect to the feed means, and also the size of the sheets fed. The detection means are also able to vary in a coordinated manner the operating conditions at least of the feed means according to the position and sizes detected.

Abstract: A creasing device (10) for a work unit (11) of a machine (12) for at least creasing and possibly cutting a sheet made of a relatively rigid material, such as corrugated cardboard for packaging, fed in a determinate work direction (F), comprises a first creasing member (32) mounted rotatable with its first axis of rotation transverse to the work direction (F). The device (10) also comprises pre-creasing means (41) disposed upstream of the first creasing member (32) in the work direction (F), and configured to carry out a pre-creasing which progressively deforms the material of the sheet to be worked before it is subjected to the creasing operation proper.

Abstract: Machine for making packing boxes, by means of cutting and/or pre-creasing operations on a sheet (F) of sufficiently rigid material, comprising feed rolls (15, 16), able to move the sheet (F) forward in a first longitudinal direction (L). A first working head (21) is mobile in a transverse direction (T), substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (L), in order to make transverse cuts and/or pre-creasings on the sheet (F). A group of second working heads (41) can be positioned along the transverse direction (T), in order to make longitudinal cuts and/or pre-creasings.
