Abstract: A mobile platform security apparatus and method is provided. The apparatus may perform a security setting by generating a first authentication key, a second authentication key, and a third authentication key for each function called by an application program. The apparatus may store the first authentication key and an identifier for identifying the application program in a first storage unit, the second authentication key and the identifier in a secret domain of a second storage unit, and register the third authentication key and the identifier as a function parameter in the application program. Subsequently, if the function is called by the application program, the apparatus may determine values for the first authentication key, the second authentication key, and the third authentication key corresponding to the called function, and may perform authentication processing using the three authentication key values.
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for generating a sequence and an apparatus for the same which can satisfy the number M? of sequences sufficiently larger than a length N of a sequence required in a wireless communication system. When the generation of a sequence of the wireless communication system is intended, a first sequence is generated from an mth order primitive polynomial determined according to the length of a required sequence. Then, a second sequence and a third sequence are generated from the first sequence, and a remainder and a quotient is obtained by dividing a particular reference parameter by a number equal to or smaller than 2m+1. Next, a fourth sequence having a desired length N is generated by using the remainder and the quotient. Therefore, it is possible to generate sequences satisfying that the number M? of sequences is sufficiently larger than a length N of the sequence.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for mapping a hybrid ARQ indicator channel, which is transmitted to a downlink in a wireless communication system, to a frequency and a time resource.
Abstract: A method for switching between periodic transmission and aperiodic transmission of a channel estimation reference signal for scheduling resources in an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) system and an apparatus to transmit/receive the reference signal using the same. To schedule periodic and aperiodic transmission of the channel estimation reference signal, a predetermined type of transmission indicator is used, the transmission indicator including one or more bits of a periodic/aperiodic identification indicator. According to the present embodiment, when periodic and aperiodic transmission of the channel estimation reference signal is mixedly performed, interference between user equipment or between cells can be minimized, and a transmission efficiency of the reference signal can be enhanced.

Abstract: A mobile communication terminal call history displays call distinguishing icons representing the types of calls performed with counterparts. The call types include sent and received voice calls, video calls, and messages. If a user selects one call distinguishing icon displayed on a mobile communication terminal's display unit, a voice call or a video call is sent to the counterpart or a screen on which a message can be written to the counterpart is displayed, according to the call type of the selected call distinguishing icon. The user can directly select a counterpart and the call type to be sent to the counterpart by selecting one of the call distinguishing icons displayed on the display unit. A desired call distinguishing icon can be selected by entering a command on a touch screen, a keypad, or by voice command.
