Abstract: A device for filtering liquids includes a tank, a tank inlet for introducing a liquid to be filtered into the tank, a tank outlet for a retentate, and at least one rotor rotatably drivable around a tank axis, the at least one rotor having a hollow shaft supported in an end wall and attached thereto a support device for filter elements arranged at a distance from the tank axis, the filter elements being fluidically connected to the hollow shaft for discharging a filtered permeate from the tank, wherein an inner lateral surface of the tank comprises at least one guide for diverting the liquid toward the filter elements. At least one of the at least one guide forms a receptacle for at least one conditioning device for adjusting process conditions.
Abstract: A device for filtering liquids has a container, units for introducing a liquid to be filtered into the container, a container outlet for unfiltered liquid to be discharged from the container, and at least one rotor, which is drivable to rotate around the container axis. The rotor has a hollow shaft mounted in an end wall and a support device fastened thereon for filter elements, which are arranged with a clearance to the container axis or rotate around their own axis. The interior of the filter elements opens via the support device and the hollow shaft out of the container as the discharge for filtered liquid. To provide improved filtration conditions, the container internal radius of the inner wall of the container circumferential shell is enlarged up to a maximum in the container circumferential direction while bulging the inner wall between two minima. The bulge forms a guide unit which guides the liquid toward the filter elements.
Abstract: The invention relates to a device (1) for filtering liquids, comprising at least one rotor (3), which can be driven so as to rotate about a rotational axis (2) and which comprises a supporting device (4) that is fixed to said rotor for disk-shaped filter elements (5) arranged at a distance from the rotational axis (2), the disk surfaces (6) of said filter elements (5) forming the filter surface, wherein a plurality of the filter elements (5) are assembled together into a filter packet on a profiled tube (7) that forms a part of the supporting device (4), for which purpose the filter elements (5) comprise a breakthrough (8) penetrated by the profiled tube (7).
