  • Patent number: 6508605
Abstract: A direction changing device for a stroller handle includes two control elements each slidably connected to first elongated holes of one of the lateral tubes of the handle, locking elements slidably connected to second elongated holes of the lateral tubes, moving elements received in the tubes and connected to both the control elements and the locking elements, springs each connected to both a pin and a corresponding one of the locking elements for biasing the same downwards, and front and rear positioning members formed on the front portions and the rear portions of the main frame of the stroller respectively. The tubes are pivoted to the frame from lower ends and connected to a handle part from upper ends. The locking elements can engage the positioning members to lock the handle in position.

  • Patent number: 6478503
Abstract: A locking device for a handrest of a stroller includes two connecting tubes secured to the front of the stroller and two pairs of locking members. The pairs of locking members are movably received in a respective one of the tubes; the locking members have lower button parts passing through lateral holes of the tubes to show, and are pivoted to the tubes from middle portions with upper engaging portions being movably received in recesses of inner sides of the tubes. An elastic member is disposed between lower parts of each pair of locking members to bias the upper engaging portions towards the center of the tube. Thus, a handrest having engaging protrusions at two ends can be locked with the tubes by means of passing the engaging protrusions into the tube to engage the upper engaging portions of the locking members. The handrest becomes removable from the tubes when the lower button parts are pressed inwardly of the tubes to disengage the upper engaging portions from the engaging protrusions of the handrest.

  • Patent number: 6202229
Abstract: A joint of a foldable bed for babies comprises a main body, a pressing block and two supporting members. The main body has two side plates connected by an intermediate curved portion. The pressing block is slidably fitted in the main body. The supporting members are pivotted to the main body, and each separably engage a respective side trench of the pressing block to be located at a first position. The pressing block is biased downwards by a spring. Two supporting rods of the frame of the folable bed are pivotted to the main body. The supporting rods have inner ends contact and engage the supporting members when same are located at the first position. To fold the bed, the pressing block is pressed upwards to disengage same from the supporting members, the supporting members being pivotted on the main body. Thus, the supporting rods of the frame can be pivotted on the main body to fold the bed.

  • Patent number: 6170099
Abstract: A base of a foldable baby bed base comprises a middle member, two pivotal rods, two turning members and four connecting rods; middle parts of the pivotal rods are pivoted to the middle member; inner ends of the pivotal rods are pivoted to each other, and are biased downwardly by springs; a belt is connected to the inner ends of the pivotal rods such that pivotal rods can be pivoted on the middle member by pulling the belt; the turning members are connected to two outer ends of the middle member with rod parts thereof turnably received in outer end holes of the middle member; the rod parts each has stopping elements opposing each other; the upper ones of the stopping elements are located adjacent to end walls of the middle member for the rod parts to be stopped from turning inwardly; the lower ones of the stopping elements are located in curved recesses at outer ends of the pivotal rods to prevent the rod parts from turning outwardly unless the pivotal rods are pivoted for the curved recesses thereof to be sep

  • Patent number: 6102432
Abstract: A direction changing device for a handle of a stroller comprises a main body, a pulling rod and a co-moving part; the handle is fixed to the main body, which is capable of pivoting on a fixing element of a support member of the stroller. The main body has a hollow, in which the co-moving part is movably received. The pulling rod has a hooked end engaging a slope of the co-moving part. The co-moving part has two concavities each communicating with a confining end of the hollow to form two locating holes for a locating pole of the support member to be passed thereinto. The locating pole engages either one of the concavities to prevent the main body from turning. When the pulling rod is pulled, the co-moving part will be moved further into the hollow for releasing the concavities from the engagement with the locating pole. Thus, the main body plus the handle can be pivoted to change direction of the handle.
