Abstract: A weld monitor system measures and records physical conditions under which welds are made between parts weld fused by an automated welding machine. Analog data of pressure in hydraulic circuits of hydraulically driven operations of an automatic welding machine, and analog data of weld current amperages applied to welding electrodes of the welding machine is acquired and stored by the weld monitor system to provide an archival record of the physical conditions of the formation of all welds made by the automatic welding machine. The weld monitor system compares the data to a predetermined range of values and sends a control signal to a welding machine controller indicative of the results of the data comparisons. An automatic part identification unit of the weld monitor system sequentially applies permanent unique indicia to parts weld assembled so that weld assembly data for uniquely identified parts can be readily retrieved from the stored data.
Abstract: A protective cover assembly is particularly adapted for a play gym having a horizontal beam member (12), a hanger bracket (15) supported from the beam member (12) and a pair of hanger bars (13 and 14) pivotally depending from the hanger bracket (15) for swinging motion through an angular extent. The protective cover assembly (10) itself utilizes a pair of mirror-image cover caps (55), each of which include a concavo-convex wall (60) that has an outer circumference and a central portion. A collar (63) extends through the central portion of the concavo-convex wall (60), and a peripheral wall (61) is presented from the outer circumference of the concavo-convex wall (60). The peripheral wall (61) is recessed (at 62) along a predetermined circumferential extent.
Abstract: A rocking type ride-on toy (10) having an animal replica (11) secured to the frame (45) of a platform (12). The platform (12) has a pair of spaced rocker members (33 and 34). Cross bars (35 and 36) connect the ends of the rocker members (33 and 34) to maintain the parallel disposition thereof. A transverse, arch supporting member (46) is secured between the laterally spaced rocker members (33 and 34) and medially the ends of the rocker member (33 and 34), and an arch member is presented from the supporting member (46). A rearward connecting rib (25) is presented from the replica (11) and attached to the arch member (55) to assist in supporting the replica (11). A longitudinal beam member (75) is secured between the transverse, arch supporting member (46) and the forward cross bar (35). A vertically extending carousel pole (85) extends upwardly from the longitudinal beam member (75) to pass through an aperture (32) in the replica (11).
