Patents Assigned to Parabeam Industrie-en Handelsonderneming B.V.
  • Patent number: 5763035
Abstract: The invention relates to a hollow fibre-reinforced plastic body comprising a curable resin-impregnated winding of high-strength fibres. To provide a strong hollow fibre-reinforced plastic body having a quick-to-make wall thickness the invention proposes that a double-walled shell which surrounds the hollow body interior is made by a first winding of one or more tapes of an uncut double pile cloth having a spaced-apart top cloth and bottom cloth and also binding pile threads which is covered by an outer winding, the windings being impregnated with a curable resin.

  • Patent number: 5271982
Abstract: The present invention relates to a textile material for composite constructions, comprising a textile fabric having tied-in naps. To form a textile material which confers good mechanical properties on the composite and at the same time makes possible a durable attachment it is provided, that the tied-in naps being secured to the textile fabric incline from the textile fabric with at least two different lengths and pile directions, and being singly and alternately distributed on a front surface of the textile fabric in a substantially uniform manner.

  • Patent number: 5175034
Abstract: The present invention relates to a double cloth comprising a face cloth and a back cloth which are made of warp and weft threads and are held together by tied-in pile threads. To form a double plush cloth of high strength and stiffness it is provided that the warp and weft threads are each crossed by a warp thread float foundation weave, and additional cover weft threads essentially extended and floating on the outer surfaces of the face and/or back cloths are tied in by the warp threads, with adjacent cover weft threads being tied in by different warp threads of the particular face or back cloth.

  • Patent number: 5164241
Abstract: The invention relates to a transport belt consisting of a fabric-reinforced plastic sheet material having a textile reinforcing layer which extend in the longitudinal direction and is formed from interlaced warp and weft threads. To obtain good overall strength together with a simple structure of the transport belt, it is provided that the reinforcing layer is formed by a strength component in the form of a double pile cloth comprising an upper and a lower fabric which are held together by low, weft-binding pile threads in such a way as to form a tension-resistant unit of upper and lower fabric in which the pile threads, in the event of a bending stress on the transport belt, permit a small degree of recoverable flexibility between the upper and the lower fabric in the warp direction.
