  • Patent number: 8062198
Abstract: An inversion table has a mounting bracket, a backrest, an ankle clamp assembly and a heating device. The mounting bracket has a rear supporting frame and two front supporting legs to form a triangle. The rear supporting frame has two pivotal points. The backrest is pivotally connected to the pivotal points and has a connecting arm. The ankle clamp assembly is connected to the connecting arm of the backrest to clamp and hold a user's ankles. The heating device is connected to the mounting bracket and the backrest and has a heating panel, a controller and a power cord. The heating panel is mounted in the backrest. The controller is electrically connected to the heating panel to control the temperature of the heating panel and is securely mounted on a rear side of the backrest. The power cord is electrically connected to the controller to transport electricity to the controller.

  • Patent number: 7896790
Abstract: An inversion table has a mounting bracket, a backrest, an ankle clamp assembly and a holding device. The mounting bracket has a rear supporting frame and two front supporting legs. The backrest is connected pivotally to the rear supporting frame. The ankle clamp assembly is securely connected to the backrest to clamp a person's ankles. The holding device is mounted on the rear supporting frame of the mounting bracket at a position opposite to the ankle clamp assembly and has two holding bars. Each holding bar has two self-casings connected to each other around the rear supporting frame and each self-casing has a mounting segment and a holding segment. The mounting segment is mounted on the rear supporting frame and has a mounting recess and multiple supporting ribs. The holding segment is formed on the free ends of the mounting segment to provide a holding and gripping effect.

  • Publication number: 20070190502
Abstract: A system and method for creating a simulation of a terrain that enables simulated views of the terrain to be rendered. The simulated views may include illumination effects (e.g., shading) that correspond to simulated illumination conditions. The simulated views may be substantially devoid of illumination effects present in one or more images of the terrain from which the simulation is created. Thus, the simulation may provide the simulated views with realistic, dynamic illumination effects, which may enhance an overall realism of the simulation.

  • Patent number: 6018347
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for modeling a three-dimensional image with polygons having different levels of detail. The method includes initially modeling the three-dimensional image with a first plurality of polygons at a first level of detail. The first level of detail represent the coarsest level of detail available for modeling the three-dimensional image. The first plurality of polygons are provided as part of an input data set. The method further includes comparing a distance between a first polygon of the first plurality of polygons and an eye point to a predefined threshold distance value associated with a level of detail of the first polygon. If the distance is less than the predefined threshold distance value, the method substitutes in a second plurality of polygons for the first polygon.
