  • Patent number: 8893421
Abstract: A muzzle attachment for a shotgun is disclosed including a first portion that has a first end, a second end, a central axis extending from the first end to the second end, and a through bore extending from the first end to the second end, concentric about the axis. The muzzle attachment also includes a second portion having a pair of opposing extensions defining a gap therebetween. Each extension has a base adjacent the second end of the first portion and a distal end extending away from the base. Additionally, the gap has a narrow end adjacent the base, a wide end adjacent to the distal end, and a pair of opposing lateral sides extending along a projection of the axis.
