Patents Assigned to Parenteral Technologies, LLC
  • Patent number: 11517505
Abstract: A medication delivery apparatus including a container and a paired delivery device removably attached to the container, wherein a fluid passageway between the container and the delivery device permits fluid medication to be transferred from the container to the delivery device to then be dispensed from the delivery device. The delivery device is rotatable between first and second operative positions with respect to the container, the first operative position for filling the delivery device with a predetermined dosage of a liquid medication and the second operative position for dispensing the predetermined dosage from the delivery device. The first and second operative positions of the delivery device may correspond with respective inverted and upright positions of the container.

  • Patent number: 11484660
Abstract: A force actuated injection device including a body adapted to contain medication, a grip slidably disposed over the body, a lock disposed between the body and the grip, the lock when locked preventing movement of the grip relative to the body and when unlocked permitting movement of the grip relative to the body, a needle guard retractable relative to the body, a biasing member biasing the needle guard away from the body, and a resistance band disposed between the body and the needle guard adapted to resist initial needle guard retraction relative to the body, wherein force on the needle guard exceeding a predetermined amount overcomes a frictional force of the resistance band allowing the needle guard to retract relative to the body to unlock the grip relative to the body such that movement of the grip relative to the body causes medication to be delivered from the body.

  • Patent number: 11058606
Abstract: An infusion apparatus including a body having an infusion reservoir and one end of the body adapted to receive a pierceable end of a vial, a barrel rotatably disposed in an opposing end of the body and having an internal fluid chamber, and a plunger received in one end of the barrel, wherein the barrel rotates relative to the body between a first position allowing bi-directional fluid flow between the barrel and the vial, and a second position allowing bi-directional fluid flow between the barrel and the infusion reservoir, and wherein the plunger is movable relative to the barrel to control the bi-directional fluid flow between the barrel and the vial and the bi-directional fluid flow between the barrel and the infusion reservoir.
